ABOUT ME…

Hi! I'm E.A. "Dirk" Quizon.
A UI/UX designer and animator who makes game interfaces feel like they belong to the world they live in

I grew up making things: stories, art, fandom edits, AMVs… whatever let me bring something to life and celebrate the things I'm passionate about with the people around me. My instinct to create followed me to USC Games, where I earned a BFA in Game Development & Interactive Design and spent four years learning, implementing, and leading UI/UX on large-scale team productions in Unity and Unreal Engine.

Since then I've shipped games I'm pretty proud of, learned to code, and found my rhythm in the middle of the craziest production environments.

I'm at my best when I'm working across disciplines: close to engineers, close to narrative, close to the players. I'm currently looking for UI/UX and motion design roles on teams building games with strong visual identity and a real love for the craft. After all, designing fun is hard to fake: you have to actually be having it too.

Every project teaches me something new, and that's the whole point.

My motion instincts (built up at age 12 contributing to fandom culture using After Effects… don't judge me!) now live in buttons, HUDs, and screen transitions that feel as good as they look.
